Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each st around
Rnd 3: Repeat Rnd 2
Rnd 4: (Sc in each of the next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times
Rnd 5: (Sc in each of the next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times
Rnd 6: Working in the back loops of the previous round, (sc in the each st around)
Rnd 7-8: Sc in both loops in each st around
Rnd 9: (Sc in each of the next 3 st, SC2tog) rep 7 times, sc in last st
Rnd 10-14: Sc in each stitch around
Join color for scarf (gray is used in my photo)
Rnd 15-16: Sc in each st around
Switch back to white for the snowman’s head
Rnd 17-22: Sc in each st around
Join color for hat (black is used in my photo)
Rnd 23-24: Sc in each st around
Turn cozy inside out and use a darning needle to weave in yarn ends
Turn cozy right side out and use a darning needle to embroider the face (eyes, nose and mouth)
(Optional) Weave a long stran of the scarf color yarn (gray used in photo) in and out of stitches in the scarf area. Leave long ends to tie a bow or brush the ends for a frayed effect.
Slip your 8oz mason jar inside the cozy, fill with goodies and your gift is ready to share!
