Are you looking for an easy and quick gift idea?  Well, this Snowman Cozy may be just what you’re looking for!  The Cozy decorates an ordinary 8oz mason jar and becomes a festive gift once you fill it with candies, homemade jelly/jam or any other goodies.  These make great gifts for teachers, family members, neighbors or anyone on your Christmas list!

Rnd 15-16:  Sc in each st around [29]

Switch back to white for the snowman’s head

Join color for hat (black is used in my photo)

Finishing

Turn cozy inside out and use a darning needle to weave in yarn ends

Turn cozy right side out and use a darning needle to embroider the face (eyes, nose and mouth)

(Optional) Weave a long stran of the scarf color yarn (gray used in photo) in and out of stitches in the scarf area.  Leave long ends to tie a bow or brush the ends for a frayed effect.

Slip your 8oz mason jar inside the cozy, fill with goodies and your gift is ready to share!
